About the club
Founded in 1888, Glamorgan became a first-class county in 1921 and remain Wales' only representative in the County Championship. Their first Championship title arrived in 1948.

Glamorgan moved their headquarters to Sophia Gardens in 1967. Redeveloped in the 2000s, the Cardiff venue now hosts county cricket and major internationals.
